Chaalan
President and Chief Executive Officer
Prior to founding Acucare Health Strategies in 1994, Mr. Chaalan served
as Chief Executive Officer of several health care organizations and medical
practices, managing budgets in excess of $300 million.
With over 26 years of senior level executive management in medical practices,
home health and hospice, and as a Certified Compliance Professional, Mr.
Chaalan is adept at strategically positioning companies to gain market
share and competitive advantage while remaining compliant with regulations.
With a proven record of leadership, financial savvy, and business development,
he is instrumental in process redesign, strategic planning, mergers and
acquisitions, integrating operations, optimizing financial efficiencies
and profitability, managed care contracting, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Chaalan has served on several Boards and co-chaired the telemedicine
committee at Georgetown University Medical Center. He is the recipient
of the Senior Care Action Network Foundation (SCAN) award for three consecutive
years.

Nancy
J. Baker
Director
of Client Services
Ms.
Baker brings over 20 years of experience with office management and related
services to Acucare. She served as an Administrator at the Heavy Constructors
Association in Kansas City, MO where she supported the Director and the
membership in their administration of construction projects for the States
of Missouri and Kansas. She has also served with several companies and
organizations supporting and promoting the health care industry.
Ms.
Baker has extensive experience in customer relations, office administration,
and financial management.
Sara
Bender, RN, COS-C, HCS-D
Director
of Clinical Affairs
Ms.
Bender has over 20 years of Home Care clinical and management experience,
most recently in the areas of OASIS and Quality. She has held the positions
of Director of Nursing in Home Care, Administrator, QIO for the State
of Florida, and Consultant. She obtained her Certification for OASIS Specialist—Clinical
in January of 2006. Ms. Bender excels in OASIS reviews, quality improvement
programs, coding and staff teaching/training activities.

Procedure Manuals and Home Care Drug Resource publications.
Jane
Caspellan
Reimbursement
Analyst
Ms.
Caspellan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications in 1994.
she has since worked with various local and multi-national companies with
expertise in office management, marketing communications and public relations.
Ms.
Caspellan brings to Acucare her keen attention to details, exceptional
organizational skills, and excellence in customer service.

Tia
McColgan
Office
Manager
Ms.
McColgan has a degree in Computer Programming and a long history of computer
software and hardware experience at MCI Telecommunications. She provided
Customer Support to a vast group of clients and through her tenure managed
a 24/7 Technical Support team of 15 representatives. She has also mastered
several other responsibilities such as an Office Manager for a construction
company, and a Contract Administrator for Van Metre. Ms.
McColgan adapts well in any environment, while maintaining a professional
presence and team player attitude.

Wyspher
Wilkes, CNA, HHA
Director of Reimbursement Services
Ms. Wilkes experience began as an office manager
in home care agencies, pursued an education in nursing and returned
to manage home care organizations. she gained significant experience
during her past tenure as a marketing representative for Wheatland Health
Services, a Kansas home care agency. In 2006, she joned Acucare as a
Reimbursement Analyst and a PPS billing expert.
Ms.
Wilkes assists clients with PPS billing issues, outsourced billing services
and troubleshooting Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance claims.
